Persian Chamber Music
English:
Misagh Joolaee’s music speaks in a voice all its own — full of color, surprise, and emotional depth. Whether he's drawing you in with quiet, lyrical lines or unleashing bursts of rhythm and energy, his style blends the complexity of Persian musical traditions with the raw feeling of folk roots.
In his latest project, Joolaee brings a fresh set of original compositions shaped by his deep connection to Persian classical music, the elegance of European classical forms, and touches of contemporary sound. These new pieces come to life in conversation with a classical string quintet — featuring exceptional musicians from the Barenboim-Said Academy — and the dynamic percussionist Roshanak Rafani.
The result is a heartfelt performance that bridges cultures, eras, and emotions — a musical experience that lingers long after the final note.
